Pilates is about being made to feel welcome, at any age or stage of your life, it’s about messy buns, and mismatched grip socks. It’s about feeling the subtle changes in your body that contribute to new found strength and confidence.

Founder & Instructor

Kristy Curran

Kristy is our owner and founder of LibertΓ© Pilates, and has been a teacher of traditional foundations of Pilates since 2003, as well as a personal trainer in London.  She has completed full training in the Pilates method on all apparatus, gained Cert IV in Pilates, & full certification through Stott Pilates, with the inclusion of completing numerous courses and workshops through other Pilates training methods.

Gabrielle

Pilates Instructor

Gabrielle found pilates as a way to help with her chronic back pain, feeling the incredible benefits and seeing the change in her strength and alignment, a passion was born. Gab has completed her comprehensive Instructor training through Pilates Chicago (*PMA recognised and approved) tailoring her classes β€œto create a safe, fun space where people can move their bodies. Finding balance, strength and confidence”.

Chloe

Pilates Instructor

Chloe discovered her passion for Pilates and Barre while living in the UK, where she trained with a diverse range of reformer instructors across dynamic, contemporary, and classical styles. Chloe returned to Australia in 2020 and pursued her interest in Pilates further by becoming a Stott Certified Reformer Pilates Instructor and Barre Attack Instructor. Chloe’s classes uniquely blend these varied influences, emphasizing correct body alignment while fostering a fun and empowering environment.

Heidi

Pilates Instructor

Heidi discovered Pilates when she was 17 years old. Having stopped dancing she was on the hunt to find a form of fitness that she not only enjoyed but that also felt right for her body. I love the way it makes me feel so connected to my body, working muscles I didn’t know I had and pushing myself harder than I thought I was capable of.

Zali

Pilates Instructor

Zali’s Pilates journey started with a mat pilates class that class ignited a lifelong passion. She’s now spent years perfecting her skills in both mat and Reformer Pilates classes that fuse deep anatomical knowledge and dynamic movement principles. In Zali’s classes, she facilitates an encouraging environment dedicated to core strength, and refining posture, mind / body awareness.

Que

Pilates Instructor

Que’s passion for pilates began with her first class where she felt like she finally found a form of movement that really resonated with her. She loves that it is accessible to all fitness levels and can provide a challenge to absolutely everyone. As a new mum, Que has also found pilates incredibly beneficial throughout her pregnancy and postpartum journey. Not only did pilates have a profound impact on her physically, but also her mental wellbeing.

Nick

Pilates Instructor / Personal Trainer

Nick has over 15 years experience as a personal trainer in the fitness industry, he has decided to focus sorely on Pilates and more specifically the benefits of Pilates for men. He offers one on one sessions for men or groups of guys who want to do Pilates but not in the traditional group class setting.

With a big passion for anything outdoors he has found Pilates has made a significant impact on his running, mountain biking and overall well-being.
